James Kiley passed away peacefully at Carriage House, Oshawa, on Thursday, February 6, 2025, at the age of 78.
He was a dearly loved father to Michelle Kiley of Keswick.
Beloved brother of Carol Ashmore and the late Donna Mighton. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the nursing team at Carriage House
for their kindness and care over the past five years.
Abiding by James’s wishes, he will be taken back to Nova Scotia to be interred with his family.

Dorothy Georgieff passed away peacefully at Roxborough Retirement Residence on Sunday, February 23, 2025, at the age of 86 years.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, George Georgieff.
Dorothy was a much-loved mother to Chris Georgieff (Erin Oliver-Georgieff) of Mission Viejo, California,
and Todd Georgieff (Nadine Fenton) of Montreal, Quebec. She was a cherished grandmother to Hayden Georgieff and Raelyn Georgieff.
Predeceased by her brother, Michael Anevich. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the
wonderful staff and caregivers at the Roxborough residence in Newmarket. They are also deeply thankful for the
many family members, dear friends, and helpers who brought so much joy to Dorothy’s life.

Brigitte Hochradl, of Keswick, passed away at the age of 76 after a lengthy battle with leukemia. She will be remembered for her love of boating, gardening, and her cherished family.

Peacefully at Southlake Residential Care Village in Newmarket, Louise Elizabeth Raby passed away on Friday, December 6, 2024, at the age of 64 years. She was a much-loved mother to John Raby (Kristen Williamson) of Keswick, Bradley Raby (Victoria Benacqustia) of Alberta, and Shane McKenna of England. Louise was a cherished Nana to Sidney, Sophie-Lynn, and the late Brayden.
She will be dearly missed by her siblings Tom Link, Jim Link, Lynette Link, Connie Link, and Derrick Wills, as well as her family and many friends. Special thanks go to Ray Ekstrom, Elaine Geniole, and the caregivers at Southlake Village for their loving care and compassion.

Sharon Glenys Byers passed away peacefully at Southlake Regional Hospital on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, at the age of 78, with her daughter by her side.
Sharon had a lifelong love of books and was an avid reader. She enjoyed a variety of crafts, including sewing, needlepoint, and folk art. Sharon’s love for animals was ever-present, with cats, dogs, or both often part of her household. Her fondness for horses led her to horseback riding as a teenager. Sharon also enjoyed music, particularly pop and country, and shared many motorcycle adventures with her late husband, Dave, letting the open road guide them.
Sharon is survived by her daughter Tammy (Gary); brother Kerry Fuller (Suzanne); sister Cheryl Munroe (Vaughn); her grandchildren Tyler and Megan Thomson, and her adored great-grandson Thomas. She also leaves behind her niece Andrea and nephews Darcy, Kelsey, and Graham. Sharon will be deeply missed by her extended family and friends.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to Sharon Corners Retirement Residence for their excellent care and to the nurses and physicians at Southlake Regional Health Centre in Newmarket for their compassion and care during her short stay in emergency and on the Cardiac Vascular (CVS) floor.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to Southlake Regional Health Centre or the Ontario SPCA in Sharon’s memory.
A private family celebration of life will be held next year.
