Margaret M. Waller (née Murrant), a longtime resident of Stratford, Ontario, passed away at Hillside Manor on March 13th, 2025, at the age of 92. She was born and raised in Port Morien, Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia.
Margaret is predeceased by brothers Donald and John and sister Norma. She was the beloved wife of L. Ray Waller for 60 years until his death in 2014. Margaret was a loving mother to her daughter Jacquelyn, who passed away in 2023.
She is survived by her children: Heidi Holdsworth (Stratford), Edward Waller (West Palm Beach, FL), and Julianne Waller (Stratford). She was a loving grandmother to Tessa, Graydon, Luka, Jay, Paige, Madeleine, Ashley, Nicolas, and Kevan, and great-grandmother to Aleks, Mika, and Samy.
Margaret grew up with a deep love for her East Coast lifestyle. She was a bright, determined, and hardworking student who excelled in music, passing Royal Conservatory piano levels with ease. She studied to be a laboratory technician in Halifax, where she met her future husband, Ray. Together they moved to Ontario, where Margaret became a dedicated mother to four children in five years.
Margaret had a successful career in pottery, opening Unicorn Studios in 1980, which later became Pottery Five Studios. For more than 20 years, customers returned year after year to collect her intricately designed pottery, contributing to the development of York Street in Stratford.
Margaret's family and friends will always remember her quick wit, sense of humor, and love for chocolate and sweet treats. She was a loving daughter, sister, friend, wife, aunt, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and she gave her best to every role she embraced.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff at Hillside for their care, as well as to Lynn Simpson for her unwavering support and love.
Cremation has taken place, and a private graveside service will be held at Avondale Cemetery in the spring.

With her loving family by her side, Barbara Joan Maloney passed away peacefully at Rotary Hospice on April 2, 2025. Born in Stratford, Ontario, on August 15, 1941, she was the cherished daughter of the late Timothy and Emily (Cubberly) Connelly.
Barbara was a kind, thoughtful, and spirited woman, known for her warmth and sense of fun. Growing up in Stratford, she spent her childhood swimming at the Lions Pool and figure skating at the Allman Arena. At just 16, she began working at the Golden Bamboo Restaurant and later worked as a full-time secretary at Fram. After taking time off to raise her family, she returned to office administration at Cooper-Standard.
Barbara was the beloved wife of the late Michael Maloney, who passed away on November 13, 2016. She was a devoted mother to her four daughters: Liz Yundt (Fred), Lori Maloney, Lynda Maloney (Joe Saunders), and Molly Maloney (William Brown). She took immense pride in being a caring grandmother to Annalise (Jeff), John (Alicia), Joe, Amelie, Owen, Quinlin, Madeline, and Sarah (Shelby), as well as a great-grandmother to Jude.
Barbara is survived by her loving sisters, Donna Crowley and Jean Turner (Ron), and will be fondly remembered by her sisters-in-law Eleanor Maloney and Marion Kelly, along with many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Jacqueline Connelly, and in-laws Bea Fadden (Red), Steve Maloney (Regina), Don Crowley, Ray Maloney, Bill Kelly, and Joe Maloney.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at West Perth Village and Rotary Hospice for their compassionate care. A special thank you to Lynn Simpson for her unwavering love, support, and advocacy for Barbara.

Roxana Fitzgeorge, daughter of the late Wellington and Rosina Hughes of St. Marys, passed away peacefully in her 80th year with family by her side on March 5, 2025.
Roxana will be deeply missed by her husband of 57 years and best friend forever, Douglas. She also leaves behind her daughter Jill (Larry), her son Gord (Michelle), and her beloved grandchildren Shaelyn, Tyler, Carson, and Julia. She is also survived by her brother Robert Hughes (Sue).
Roxana was predeceased by her loving sister, Sharon Melville (Larry).
Her three favorite things in life were her family, her grandpuppies, and the beach.
A private family interment will be held at Avondale Cemetery. Memorial donations in Roxana’s memory may be made to the Rotary Hospice of Stratford, whom the family wishes to thank immensely for their respect and help in making her final days comfortable and peaceful.

Gerald was a lifelong resident of Stratford and a dedicated member of Elgin Missionary Church.
He worked with the Stratford Municipal Assessment Office starting in 1961,
later moving to the Ontario Municipal Office in Goderich, where he remained until retirement.
A devoted son, uncle, and friend, Gerald prioritized faith, family, and friendships above all else.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Born in Stratford, she was the daughter of the late Wilfred and Ruby (Fink) Greve.
Predeceased by her partner of 44 years, Robert "Bob" Chesney.
Evelyn is survived by her children Dan (Patricia), Scott (Heather Wilson), and Kevin.
Cherished grandmother of Jayden and Keysha Power (Marshall), and great-grandmother of Lilith.

Born in Stratford, son of the late Leonard and Marie (Glabb) Conyard.
Beloved father of daughters Jennifer Conyard (Dave), Sara Vanier (Dan), and Angela Brown (Travis), and son Christopher Conyard.
Also survived by his 11 grandchildren: Josh (Jodi), Rebekkah, Eric (Holly), Skylar, Abbie, Maven (Vanessa), Ronyn, Scarlett, Keegan, Neely, and Hayden;

Wayne spent his career at the Beacon Herald until he retired.
He was a dedicated leader with the Boy Scouts of Canada and an active member of his church.
Wayne felt most at home at Happy Hills Resort for many years.
His smile and kindness will be missed by many.
He wore the title “Papa” with love and pride.
