Larry Douglas Morris

1953 – 2025

With his wife by his side at Bluewater Health on April 1st, 2025, Larry Douglas Morris passed away at the age of 71. He is survived by his loving wife Kathy and his proud sons Ryan and Brody.

Larry is also survived by his siblings Stephen (Diana), Vickie (Norm), and Pat (George), as well as his parents-in-law Grace and Carm Holbrook and brother-in-law Randy (Connie). He was predeceased by his parents Kenneth and June.

Larry was the uncle and great-uncle of many nieces and nephews. He loved the miles he put on behind the wheel of an 18-wheeler. Larry was proud of his service to the Legion, including his term as president. His friends will fondly remember him as “Bear,” and his signature beard will not be forgotten.

Cremation has taken place, and a private family celebration of life will be held at a later date.

In memory of Larry, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Watford Royal Canadian Legion Branch 172.

Debra Ann Lamb

1954 – 2025

With her husband by her side, Debra Lamb passed away at Strathroy Middle General Hospital on March 19th, 2025, at the age of 70.

Debra is survived by her devoted husband Jim Lamb. She will be missed by her siblings Vince (Mary) Quinn, Joe (Connie) Quinn, the late Steve Quinn, the late Karen (Randy) Bonney, and the late Patti (Dale Buckner) Quinn. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, many cousins, and one aunt.

Debra was an amazing chef for over 40 years and took great pride in her skills. She had a very quick wit, always making the people around her smile and laugh. Debra loved the simple things in life. She appreciated her quiet time spent with a good book.

Visitation will be held at DENNING’S OF WATFORD on Saturday March 29th, 2025, from 2:00pm until 4:00pm and 6:00pm until 8:00pm.

In memory of Debra, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Cynthia Lou Crul

1953 - 2025

It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the peaceful passing of Cindy Crul on March 2, 2025, at the age of 71,
at Strathroy Middle General Hospital.

Loving wife of Jerry for 47 years.
Dear mother to Mike (Carrie) and Marty (Ashley).
Grandma to Elisa, Brittany, Paisley, Taylor, Cody, Devon, Mason, Oakley, and Maddie.

Predeceased by her brothers Bruce, Bevan, Gene, Brian, and brother-in-law Grant.
Survived by sisters Pat and Shirley, and sister-in-law Pat.
She will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Cremation has taken place.

Zakkari Dalton Alex Gurchin

April 24, 1991 – February 23, 2025

With broken hearts, the family of Zakkari Dalton Alex Gurchin shares that Zakk passed away at Four Counties Hospital in Newbury on February 23, 2025, after a long battle with cancer.

Zakk is survived by his devoted wife, McKenna (Munro), and their two beloved children, Bennett and Scotlynn, who were the light of his life. He was deeply loved by his parents, Alex and Kim Gurchin, and his sister and brother-in-law, Marisa and Aaron Stocking.

He will be greatly missed by his grandparents, Alex and Sharon Gurchin, in-laws Bob and Heather Munro, siblings-in-law Madison and Brad Podolinsky, Robert Munro and Seana McDonald, as well as his adored nieces and nephews, Blake, Rhett, and Emerson. His beloved black lab, Ellie, was always by his side.

Zakk was welcomed into the arms of those who predeceased him, including grandparents Karl and Christena Campbell, Uncle Kevin Campbell, and nephew Cohen Stocking.

For nine years, Zakk was the heart of the Gurchin Real Estate Team, where he built lifelong relationships. His vibrant personality lit up every room, and his passion for helping others shone through in everything he did.

A lifelong sports enthusiast, Zakk was a dedicated coach for the East Lambton Eagles and Southwest Bullets and a beloved teammate on the Astros and Muddogs baseball teams. He found joy in sharing his love of the game with his children, ensuring that Bennett and Scotlynn followed in his footsteps on the ice and ball field.

Zakk and McKenna built a beautiful life together in Alvinston, embracing every moment. Though their time together was short, their love was unwavering.

A Celebration of Life will take place at the Brooke-Alvinston-Inwood Community Complex, 3310 Walnut Street, Alvinston, Ontario, on Sunday, March 9, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
