Bernard, George

June 1933 – December 2024

It is with a sad heart that George passed away peacefully at Ajax Hospital in his 92nd year. Predeceased by his wife, Marie, to whom he was married for 36 years (1958-1994). Recently predeceased by his close companion, Cynthia Hunter (1996-2024).

George was born in Toronto. He was a person of many hats (jobs) over the years. George lived life on his own terms, doing what he wanted with no regrets.

He leaves behind his two sons, Jerome and Vincent, and six grandchildren: Jessica, Shawn, Holly, Cory, Nathan, and Brandon. Additionally, he is survived by six great-grandchildren: Bishop, Sterling, Hadley, Sawyer, Waylon, and Hyde.

Visitation Details:
A celebration of life will take place on Sunday, January 19, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at 850 Green Street, Whitby, in the Common Room.
