McKAY, George William - January 20, 1942 - December 10, 2020
After a lengthy illness, George passed away Thursday, December 10, 2020, at Markham-Stouffville Hospital in his 79th year.
Beloved brother to Gord (Joice) and Christine (Eric Wolfe).
Predeceased by sister Doris (Jackson), and parents Gordon and Evelyn McKay.
Cherished uncle to Glenn Jackson, Stephen (Emily), Christine (Jamie Shetler) and David. Born in East York (Toronto), George spent most of his life in Stouffville, farming on the family farm in Ringwood.
Later working at the Mandarin Golf and Country Club.
A lover of the outdoors, George enjoyed his many trips across Canada and his fishing trips. He will be missed by many friends he met along the journey.
Private family interment service after cremation at Stouffville Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
