TRANMER, Gerald Robert -
July 13, 1946 – March 2, 2024
Beloved son of the late Ken and Norma (Valleau) Tranmer. Brother to Ronald (Linda) Tranmer and Sharon (Harry) Tranmer.
Foster brother to Karl (Sandra) Purchase. Uncle to Jennifer (Dean) Thompson, Geoffrey (Lee-Ann) Tranmer and Christopher Tranmer. Great-uncle to Ethan and Graham Thompson, and Keaton and Kaleia Tranmer.
Foster uncle to Sarah and Jesse Purchase.
A resident of AgeCare Aurora, Aurora, Ontario, for many years, Gerald grew up on the Tranmer family farm, north of Stouffville, Ontario.
He contributed to the work of the farm; he loved wandering its fields. His passion was photography, particularly of flowers and farm machinery.
Gerald was a gentle soul who gave love and happiness to his family, and to his friends at the Bloomington Gospel Church, Bloomington, Ontario. He was deeply loved and will be sorely missed.
May he rest in peace, reunited with his loving parents. God bless.
Visitation will be at O'Neill Funeral Home on Saturday, March 9th from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m., followed by the funeral service and burial at Stouffville Cemetery.
