SQUIRES, Gisele Shirlene (Lapointe) - Was born on April 7, 1954 in Larder Lake, Ontario and died on August 30, 2017 at Freeport Hospital, Kitchener, Ontario.
She is survived by her daughters Diana-Leigh (DeeDee) (Jason Simpson) and Margaret Squires, all of Cambridge. Grandchildren Kandi-Leigh Simpson and Tyler Simpson. Great-grandchild Chance Simpson-Hadi. Brothers Donald (Tami) and Ronald (Kathy), all of Timmins, sisters Roseline (Serge Bourgouin), of Sturgeon Falls and Cindy (Arcade Grondin, of Timmins.
She will also be missed by the Beauseigle Family, Paula Ward, nieces, nephews and friends.
She was predeceased by her parents Fernand Lapointe (March 1, 1990) and Shirlene Lapointe (February 5, 2000), brother Fernand Lapointe (1966), ex-husband Maurice Squires and companion Melvin Gooding (1995).
In accordance of Gisele's wishes there will be no formal visitation or funeral service. Cremation has taken place. Gisele will be laid to rest beside her companion Melvin Gooding (1995) in Mount View Cemetery, Cambridge, Ontario.
As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
