Born in Montreal, to Lucile and Lucien Léger.
Predeceased by his wife, Lois (Shanahan) Léger.
Loving father to Rev. Fr. Larry Léger, Chris (Maria Lockhart) Léger, and Julie (Ian) Tremblay.
Proud grandfather to Gabriel and Michael.
Guy was a Husband, Father, Uncle, Educator, Sailor, Cottager, Golfer, Traveller, and a Man of Faith.
A Superintendent of Education, he was a well-respected leader of Senior Staff with the Metro Separate School Board (MSSB later the TCDSB) overseeing the introduction computers into classrooms.
Guy lived and practiced his Catholic Faith and knew it was time to "go home" to God.
Visitation at Holy Cross Funeral Home, Thornhill, Tuesday, November 7th, from 4-7 p.m. Visitation at St. Mary's Barrie, Wednesday, November 8th, from 9:30 a.m. Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m.
