Born in the Scotch Block area of rural Milton in 1925, he moved with his family to “town” as a young lad. He met a “city” girl, Margaret and married in June 1950. They built their own house in 1954 and raised their boys in this home.

LUTTRELL, Shirley - It is with great sadness the family of Shirley Luttrell announces her passing on Saturday September 21st, 2019. She died peacefully surrounded by family at the age of 86.

Shirley was born in Surrey, England, emigrated to Canada and settled in Oakville.  She  married her love, Roy Luttrell who  preceded her in death in 2004.

Shirley is survived by her children, Dale, Darren (Nada), Darlene (Sean) and her grandchildren Blake, Candice, Emma, Travis and Aaron.

Morgan MosesMORGAN, Moses Wilburn - Moses Wilburn Morgan died September 21, 2019 at the Oakville Trafalgar Hospital at the age of 84.

Moses was born in Manchester, Jamaica on April 3, 1935. He met Cynthia and they were married on September 30, 1961 a the age of 26. Shortly after they were married Moses moved to London, England.

Cynthia, and their eldest daughter Pamela joined him in England in 1963. They lived in England for 13 years, where their other 3 children were born; Errol, Mayling and Val. In 1976, Moses alone moved to Canada and in 1977 Cynthia and the 4 children joined him.

Dorothy was the kindest of souls and will be missed by a large group of family and friends.  She is survived by her sister Kay and brother Albert, predeceased by brothers Leonard, Stuart and Harold.

Oatley EdithOATLEY, Edith  -  Age 96, passed away peacefully in her sleep September 20, 2019.

She was born December 11, 1922 in Scotland to Ernest and Jenny Randall.

She grew up in London, England where she met Ken, the love of her life, who preceded her in death in 1995.

While in London, Edith and Ken lived through the Second World War together, including the Battle of Britain.

They forged their lifelong love for one another as bombs fell around them during that terrible time.

McLelland RussellMcLELLAND, Robert John 'Russell' - (November 15, 1928 - September 19, 2019) -

On September 19, 2019 at Shalom Village in Hamilton, Ontario in his 91st year.

Russell was predeceased by his much loved wife of 49 years Marjorie (Schaus) (2012), sister June McLelland (2015), and sister in law Doris Cantelon (2017).

He will be missed by his niece and nephew Cathie and Arnold deVries. Russell was also Great Uncle to Rob, Rhiane, Allison, and Natasha, and Great Great Niece Hailey.

Russell was part of the family that opened, owned, and operated McLelland and Son London Shop in downtown Hamilton for more than 50 years until he retired and closed the shop in 1986. He took great pride in serving his clientele and all of their needs.
