Wardle AndrewWARDLE, Dr. Andrew - Dr. Andrew Wardle passed away peacefully on October 9, 2019 at the age of 73 after battling with Alzheimer’s and is now able to rest.

Fortunate and grateful to have shared his life and love; he was a wonderful husband to Mosie, loving father of Blaise and Tania (and second father to so many of their friends), Grandad to Kai, and the eldest of 7 siblings.

A man of many pursuits and infinite interests, he was a sponge for information and always keen to share his knowledge and engage in a debate. Having set up the Anesthesia department at Credit Valley Hospital, Andy was a talented doctor who brought comfort to so many and was respected and loved by colleagues over 42 years of service.

Born in Tientsin, China, to British expatriates, Jack attended boarding school at Chefoo (1931-1934) and the St. Louis College in Tientsin (1935-1937).

Jack went on to serve in WWII (1941-1946) before settling in Canada, attending Queens University (B. Comm 1951) and joining Ford Motor Company, where he worked until his retirement.

Jack was the beloved patriarch of the Carter family. A devoted husband to Ruth (Switzer) for 70 years and loving father to Virginia (Imants Udris), Ian (Elizabeth Mitchell) and Jennifer (Neil Matson).

With an HBA from Western and an MBA from McMaster Rod embraced many roles with the Ford Motor Company both in Canada and abroad. Foreign assignment took Rod and Judy to Taiwan, China, India, New Zealand and South Africa.

WILSON, Ernest F.   -  Born October 14 1924, passed away October 5, 2019 at Ian Anderson House Hospice in Oakville, ON.

Ernie was born and raised in Oakville, attended Oakville High School, and graduated from University of Toronto Aeronautical Engineering.

He served in the CAF during WWII and was stationed in Tofino, BC. Ernie was predeceased by his wife of 63 years, D. Louise (Kelley) Wilson.
