Altura ZenaidaALTURA, Zenaida Barrientos Altura  -  57, passed after a courageous battle against cancer on June 25, 2019 at Hamilton’s Juravinski Hospital.

She was born on October 11, 1961 in Villasis, Philippines to Robustiano and Isabel Barrientos.

In 1986, she happily married Benito Altura.

Together, they welcomed their daughters Sheila May Altura, Sheena Lynn Altura, Shannon Grace Altura and their son, Sheldon Benito Altura. 

She showed great care, strength, resiliency and commitment in all aspects of her life and we are and will always be grateful for her. She was a beautiful and loving wife, mother, daughter, and sister who will be truly missed by all of her family and friends. Thank you to all for your endless and unwavering support. 

Visitation will be held at Bay Gardens Funeral Home, Hamilton, on Thursday, June 27th from 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm and Friday, June 28th from 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm. The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Margaret Mary Roman Catholic Church, 20 Idlewood Avenue, Hamilton on Saturday, June 29th at 10:00 am. Burial will follow.
