ZAJAC, Michael John - With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Michael Zajac, surrounded by the love of his family and friends on Sunday, November 17, 2019 at the age of 42 years.
Loving husband of Maria Zajac (nee Basso) for 15 years. He will be sadly missed by his fur baby Penny Lane. Michael will be lovingly remembered by his mother Loretta Zajac Marshall (Joe Galati), step father David Marshall and mother and father-in-law Angela & Luigi Basso.
Cherished brother of Christina Bratton (George), Melissa Glassford (Robert), Michelle Clause (A.J.) and brother-in-law of Antonietta Abou-Ardat (Zaidan), Virginia Thibodeau (Christopher) and Amedeo Basso (Malisa).
Dear uncle to Christopher (Christina), Marcus, Husayn, Adam, Sarah, Fayzeh, Jonathan (Victoria), Nicholas, Andrew & Aidan. Survived by his Nonna, Rosa Steduto. Michael was predeceased by his Babcia and Dziadzia, Rudy and Doris Zajac, his Nonno, Umberto Steduto and his father John Steduto.
He will be dearly missed by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Michael has many lifelong friends who have touched his heart and mean the world to him.
Michael was born in Hamilton, Ontario and attended St. Jerome's School and Thomas More Secondary School. Michael had many accomplishments that he was proud of : member of the Junior Boys Bowling Team who won the National Championship in 1990 and St. Thomas More Football program who he played for and has been a volunteer coach for the junior team for 20 years alongside a great team of coaches and players.
Valued employee of Hamilton Builder's Supply for 20 years.

Visitation at Bay Gardens Funeral Home, 947 Rymal Road East, HAMILTON on Wednesday, November 20th from 3 pm - 9 pm.
The Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, November 21st at 10 am at Annuciation of Our Lord Catholic Church, 280 Limeridge Road West, Hamilton. A final blessing will be given at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, 254 Garner Road West, Ancaster.
