With broken hearts, we announce the passing of Kelly Marie Smith on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at the age of 65, at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Beloved wife of Paul, cherished mother of Sabrina, and the youngest sister of Jann, Mike (Mayeli), Marc (Joan), Marian (Garry), and Nancy. She was a dear sister-in-law to Kelly and Rob Nardi and a caring aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her parents John and Helen, infant great-niece Savanna, and nephew Anthony Unelli (May 2024), Kelly will be missed by her friends, neighbors, past co-workers, and extended family. Known for her quiet kindness and devotion to her family, Kelly created warm memories through thoughtful gestures and big, joyful family gatherings. Her chili, gardening, and “Kelly Coffee” were legendary among her loved ones.
Kelly’s family will forever be in awe of her strength and tenacity as she faced her illness with courage. They wish to thank the incredible care teams at St. Joseph’s Hospital for their compassion and guidance.

It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Filippo Perrelli on November 27, 2024, at the age of 84. Filippo was the beloved husband of Nella (née Muraca) for over 56 years, and a loving father to Agatha (Robert Licatalosi) and Ignazio (Nicolette Perrelli). He was a cherished grandfather, “Nanuzzo,” to Amelia, Christina, Joseph, Lucas, and Siena.
Filippo is lovingly remembered by his siblings Maria (late Francesco Ciardullo), Antonio (Josie Perrelli), Ines (Luigi Beltrano), and Silvana (Robert Corsini). He was predeceased by his parents, Agata (née Bozzo) and Ignazio Perrelli, and his brother Luciano. Dear son-in-law to Marietta and the late Stano Muraca, Filippo will also be dearly missed by his brothers- and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends in Canada, Italy, and the United States.
Filippo’s gentle and kind nature, along with his appreciation for life’s little pleasures such as tending to his garden, sharing food with family, and preserving traditions at the Donnici Social Club, where he was a committee member, will always be remembered. Filippo’s legacy of love and kindness will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

Renzo will be forever remembered by his devoted wife of 50 years, Angela, his children Carmelina (Riccardo), Gemma, and Christopher (Natalia), and his cherished grandchildren, Paolo, Giulia, and Sabrina.
Predeceased by his parents Riccardo and Isolina Bartolomeo, and his in-laws Gemma and Felice Russo, Renzo is also lovingly remembered by his siblings Nina (Tony) Civitareale, the late Giovanni (Emma) Bartolomeo, the late Erdere Bartolomeo, Anna (the late Luciano) Vergni, Carlo (Angioletta) Bartolomeo, and Marialuisa (Alberto) Milone. Renzo was a dear brother-in-law to Michael (Sarah) Russo and Felicia (Marc) Albanese and was adored by many nieces and nephews.
Renzo lived a life marked by compassion, hard work, and unwavering love for his family. Known for his warm smile and laughter, he brought joy to everyone he met. His legacy of kindness and strength will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.

With heavy hearts, we announce the unexpected passing of Patricia Yvonne Marie LeBlanc at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Hamilton, Ontario on November 21, 2024, at the age of 68. Patricia was a devoted mother, Memère, sister, and friend who touched countless lives with her kindness and unwavering love.
Patricia is lovingly remembered by her son Christopher Lee (Tasha), her daughter Michelle Lee, and her cherished grandchildren Ethan Gowan (Angela), Mel Melanson (Benji), and Tatienne Bleus. She was a dear sister to Rose Patterson, Ernest Jr. LeBlanc (Donna), Joseph Leblanc (Angela), Bernard LeBlanc (Beth), and Louise LeBlanc. Patricia is now reunited with her parents Lucille and Ernest LeBlanc, her sister Jeanne McLaughlin, and nephew Curtis Leblanc.
Patricia led a fulfilling career as an Executive Assistant and dedicated herself to volunteering for numerous charitable causes, including MADD and the De Mazenod Doors Outreach Program. She loved adventures, family time, knitting, crocheting, and sharing her joy for life with everyone she met.
A selfless and kind-hearted woman, Patricia always made those around her feel loved and supported. Her infectious laughter, warm hugs, and endless positivity will be deeply missed.
In keeping with Patricia's wishes, there will be no visitation. She will be laid to rest in Shemogue, New Brunswick in the spring of 2025, reunited with her beloved parents.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the ICU and surgical team at St. Joseph’s Hospital for their compassionate care.

Carmela will be lovingly remembered by her children: Fernando (Nancy), Giannina (Dino Toscani), Tina (Angelo Lolli), and Danny (Laura). She was the adored nonna of Cinzia (Dean), Tanya (Terry), Nadia (Joseph), Cristina (Michael), Diana (George), Joshua, Adrian (Keisha), Angelina, and Nicolas. Her love extended to her cherished bisnonni: Mario, Sofia, Isabella, Zachary, Sienna, Ava, Marcus, Jacob, Georgie, Zoe, and Isla.
Born in Corinaldo, Ancona, Carmela immigrated to Canada in 1964 with her husband and their two eldest children, bringing only hope and determination for a brighter future. Later, they were blessed with two more children. Carmela was known for her tireless work ethic and devotion to family. Her passion for gardening, sewing, and her hobby farm was matched only by her love of cooking, where she created meals that brought her family together in laughter and love.
Carmela was a source of strength and inspiration, defined by her unwavering faith and selfless devotion to her family. Her legacy will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff at Ridgeview Long Term Care, where Carmela resided for the past three and a half years, and to Dr. Ralph Profetto for his exceptional care.

Kathi (nee Puscher) was the beloved wife and soul mate of Ed Gibson.
Proud Mom of Natasha (Paul Dubord), Chelsie Gibson (Erik Hayes) and Baillie Gibson. Devoted Nanny of Keeghan, Mila, and Aria. Oldest sister of Timothy and Marcus.
Dear daughter of Heidi (Ron Woodhouse). Sadly missed by her sister-in-law Judy Harris and her daughter Shannon, mother-in-law Joan Sabine and father-in-law Ralph Gibson. Forever remembered by relatives and friends.
Kathi will also be missed by her Friends at Remax Escarpment, the Unicorns, and all of the Knight's Beach Family. She would say, "let the real Shenanigans Begin".

COMMISSO, Joe - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Joe Commisso Sr, surrounded by his family, on Tuesday July 31st, 2018, at Humber River Hospital.
Joe was in his 78th year and will be survived by his loving wife of 46 years Antoinette (nee Cottone), sons David, Mark and Joe, grandchildren Christian, Luca, Declan and Raine, in-laws Patti and Sam Schillaci, daughters-in-law Lindsey, Jaime and Ali.
He will be joining his late brother Frank Commisso and is survived by siblings Mary Commisso, Sarah and Jim Costa, Cosimo and Pina Commisso, Nick and Rosetta Commisso, Mary and Cosimo Figliomeni and Jim and Rosanna Commisso, in addition to a long list of nieces, nephews, friends, and family who adored Joe.
He was a Hair Stylist in the Hamilton area since 1967, working at Terminal Towers, Burlington Mall, and Salon Dior. He took immense pride in watching his sons and grandchildren grow throughout the years. Joe was an avid sports fan, lover of golf and will be missed walking the fairways of Willow Valley Golf and Country Club.
His family will watch with great admiration as his beloved garden continues to grow throughout the summer and into eternity with Joe.
