The family will receive friends at the McConnell Funeral Home, Marmora from 2-4 & 6-8 on Sunday. Funeral service will take place in St. Andrew’s United Church, Marmora, Monday August 6, 2018 at 11:00 am. Interment at Marmora.

BUSH, Dennis - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dennis Bush, after a brief illness, at Kingston General Hospital, on Tuesday, July 31, 2018, in his 73rd year.
Beloved husband of 53 years to his high school sweetheart Marlene (nee Whiteman).
Devoted father to Pam Coens (Brad) of Kingston, and Sean of Brampton.
Loving grandfather (Poppy) to Ryan (Rebecca), Brianna and Emily Coens, and Jacob and Cailyn Bush.
Survived by his sister Elaine Robinson (Barry), Belleville.
Predeceased by his father Rennseller Bush, mother Verna (Casselman) Kellar, stepfather Wilbert Kellar and granddaughter Rebecca Bush.
The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses of Kingston General Hospital ICU for their wonderful care and support.
Cremation. The family will receive friends and family at the McConnell Funeral Home, Madoc, from 6-8 p.m. Monday and 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesday with Memorial Service on Tuesday, August 7 at 1:00 p.m. Interment at Madoc.

MCBRIEN, Leroy George - Peacefully died surrounded by family at his home on Monday, July 30, 2018, in his 86th year.
Son of the late Lillian and Clarence McBrien.
Loving husband and friend of Caroline McBrien.
Father of Robert (Ginette) of Calgary, Heather of Ottawa and Bruce (Christine) of Setauket, New York.
Cherished grandfather of Alex, Sean (Rielle), Caroline, Grace and Emma.
Predeceased by his sister George Anne Martin, née McBrien.
Lee’s successful career with Mead Johnson /Bristol-Myers Squibb took him around the world. He returned to his hometown of Belleville to live out his retirement. Lee loved the outdoors and enjoyed annual canoe trips to his beloved Quetico Provincial Park. An avid sportsman, he enjoyed boating and fishing, playing hockey, tennis, golf, and curling.
Humble in life, Lee would have wanted a memorial without fanfare. In honoring his wishes, his family invites friends to drop in on Saturday, August 4th, between 1:30 and 3:30 p.m. at Burke Funeral Home, Belleville for a casual gathering to remember

HIDEG, Joseph Alexander “Joe” - It is with great sadness, we announce the sudden passing of Joe on Monday, July 30, 2018 at the age of 60.
Son of the late Joseph and Helena Hideg.
Beloved husband to Muriel Hideg (nee MacDonald).
Devoted father to Joseph Jr. (Christy Pearson) and Jeremy Hideg of Trenton.
He will be lovingly remembered by his mother-in-law Luisa MacDonald, and brother-in-law Willy MacDonald of Trenton.
Joe was employed as a funeral associate with the Rushnell Family for nearly 35 years and was extremely proud of his most recent role as crematorium operator. He will be deeply missed by all of his co-workers.
Friends are invited to call at the John R. Bush Funeral Home, Belleville on Thursday from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. Memorial service will take place in the chapel on Friday, August 2nd at 11:00a.m. Fr. Timothy Harrison officiating. Interment at Bayside.

JOHNSTON, Murray Kenneth - Passed away on Sunday, July 29, 2018.
Loving husband & best friend of Jean (Quinlan) Johnston.
Loving father of Randy & Tina of Peterborough and Dan & Kristine of Stirling.
Cherished grandfather of Joshua, Carleigh, Julia and Stephanie.
Beloved son of Audrey (Anderson) & the late Neil Johnston and dear brother of Lorena & Garnet Reid of Lindsay and Sharon & Lawrence Turcotte of Madoc.
Murray & Jean were married on April 18, 1964 and have resided in Bancroft for many years. They made it their home and raised their sons here. He was employed with the M.T.O. as a driving examiner for 27 years and was blessed to have enjoyed 25 years of retirement.
Murray & Jean loved to travel, spending their winters in Florida, spending time at their cottage during the summer months, curling and snowmobiling. He was also an avid hunter and fisherman. Despite numerous health issues during the last couple of years, Murray's fortitude, determination and adaptability to his fate, have truly been an inspiration to all who knew him.
The service will take place at Bancroft Pentecostal Tabernacle, 311 Hastings Street N. (Hwy 62N) Bancroft, ON on Wednesday, August 1st, 2018 at 11:30am. Rev. Jonathon Kouri officating. At the family's request, there will be no visitation prior to the funeral service. Everyone will have an opportunity to see and visit with Murray's family down in the lower auditorium immediately following the conclusion of the funeral during the reception. Casual attire would be welcomed. Interment at Bancroft, ON.

FINGLAND, Verna Ellen (nee Berry) - October 5, 1936 - July 29, 2018 - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our wonderful mother, Verna Fingland in her 82nd year on Sunday, July 29, 2018 at the Lennox & Addington County Hospital after a brief battle of cancer surrounded by her two children.
She was a nurse graduate at the Brockville Psychiatric Hospital in 1957 and has been part of the Brockville Psychiatric Hospital Nurses Alumni.
Predeceased by her dear husband, Robert (Bob) Fingland.
Loving mother to Douglas Fingland of Deseronto and Deborah Fingland (David Bourgeois) of Belleville.
Predeceased by her parents, John (Jack) & Verna Berry (nee Brown).
Dear sister to Doreen Richmond (late Alan); Betty Berry (late Bill McKay); late Darrell (Sonny) Berry (Ann & late Marla); late Ronald Berry (Helen); Jackie (Jack) Berry (Jeanette); late Linda Berry; Faye Berry (Duke Meijer); Philip Berry (Lynne); Marlene Chapman (Gordon) and Keith Berry (Lee Gibbs).
Sadly missed by Bob's family, her many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbours.

Verna will be cremated and as a request of the family there will be no visitation or service. A celebration of her life with family and close friends will be held at a later date.

Proud mother of Scott and Mark Darrah, both of Kitchener.
Norma is survived by her sister Ruth Munroe (Allan) of Stirling and her brother Ronald Donnan of Atlanta, Georgia.
She is predeceased by her brothers Doug and Jack Donnan.

BURKE, Arnold Harold Verdun - With great sadness we announce the passing of Arnold at his home in Trenton on Sunday, July 29, 2018 in his 87th year.
Son of the late Harold & Lily Burke.
Loving husband of the late Margaret Burke and Barbara Burke.
Cherished father to Carolyn Shaughnessy (Dennis), Evelyn Amberger (Steve) and Ronald Burke (Cyndy).
He will also be sadly missed by Barb's children; Steven Collar and David Collar (Chantal).
Arnold is predeceased by stepdaughter Kathy Cowan (survived by her husband Paul) and his brother Don Burke (survived by his wife Ina Ray).
He is also survived by his sister Marlene Foster (Mike) and will be deeply missed by his many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In keeping with Arnold's wishes, cremation arrangements have been made. A Memorial Service will be held at Trenton United Church, 85 Dundas St. E, Trenton on Saturday, August 11th, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. (with visitation prior from 11-1 p.m.). Inurnment at Trenton, ON.
