HAUKIOJA, Paul Aleksi  -
1930 - 2024

Born in Lahti, Finland It is with sadness that we share the sudden passing of Paul Haukioja on July 9, 2024, at Michael Garron Hospital in Toronto, at the age of 94.

Predeceased by his wife, Seija (nee Virtanen); and his two brothers and their wives, Oliver and Sara Haukioja, Sulo and Aili Haukioja.

He is survived by his daughter, Marietta Walsh (James); and his son, Ken Haukioja (Audrey); and 7 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren.

Paul and family spent many years living in Northern Ontario, South Porcupine.

He loved fishing and hunting. For the last 7 years, he made Suomi-Koti his home, among Finnish friends and fellow residents.
