Cuneo HelenCUNEO, Helen Patricia (nee McGregor) - (1928 - 2020) - Helen Patricia Cuneo (née McGregor) passed away on December 12, 2020 at East General Hospital in Toronto.

Helen and her brother John were raised in Toronto by their working class parents Ethel and William McGregor. Helen attended elementary school at St. Anselm's and high school at Loretto College in North Toronto.

Helen and Raymond Andrew were married at St. Anselm's Church in Toronto on May 27, 1950. They moved to 15 Memorial Park Avenue in East York in 1955, which remained their family home for 65 years.

Their first of six children, Kathryn Ann (James) was born in 1952. Michael William (Margaret) was born in 1954, Danny Christopher (Annie) in 1955, David Patrick (Joan) in 1959, Claire Marie (Rupert) in 1960 and Robert Paul (Ana) in 1968.

Helen is survived by five children. She was predeceased by her devoted husband Raymond and beloved daughter Kathryn.

She was adored by 21 grandchildren, James, Leanne, Christopher, Rebecca, Kevin, Shane, Amanda, Farrahn, Nadine, David Peter, Emily, Steven, Brenda, Robert, Patrick, Julia, Raymond, Ryan, William, Anthony, Lazar and five great grandchildren Evan, Kayley, Colum, Irene, and Mary.

Helen was sister to the late John McGregor and sister-in-law to Lucille, as well as loving Aunt to Andrew and Suanne. Lifetime best friends with Lorraine Ware.

Helen and Raymond Cuneo created a fun and happy home where stories, laughter and food were in abundance. The doors were always open and everybody was always welcome. She will be held in the hearts of her family forever.

Mom we will miss your tenderness, your patience, your guidance, your blue eyes. We will miss you at the kitchen table. Love you always.

Arrangements entrusted with Rosar-Morrison funeral home, Toronto. A private funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, December 16th at St. Ann’s Church, 120 First Avenue in Toronto, followed by interment at Mount Hope Catholic Cemetery, 305 Erskine Avenue in Toronto.
