HERCIA, Steven Hercia - 29-Oct-1952 - 26-Sep-2024
Hercia, Steve, (retired GM employee of 33 years) passed peacefully with his family by his side after a short battle at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Thursday, September 26, 2024 in his 72nd year. Loving father of Natalie Hercia (Steve Cappellano) and Stephen Hercia. Proud Gigi of Trevor and Josie Cappellano. Dear brother of Dennis (Margaret) and their son Johnathan of Texas and Cathy (the late Ron Dancey). Cherished and fatherly uncle of Michael Dancey (Michelle and their son Wolfgang) and Robert Dancey. Predeceased by his parents Steve and Josephine Hercia. Steve will be lovingly remembered by his extended family and friends.
A special thank you to his friend Larry Jordan and the staff at Lakeridge Health Oshawa Palliative Care for their wonderful care and support during this time. Also to all family, friends and neighbours who entertained him with their visits.
A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at White Cliffe Terrace Residence from 1-3 pm. Arrangements entrusted to Mount Lawn Funeral Home & Cemetery 647-370-6836.
