Older man with white hair and mustacheHOWE, Brian Stephen Howe  -
November 2, 1954 – August 2, 2024

It is with profound sadness that the family of Brian Howe announce his passing at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on August 2, 2024 after years of battling cancer.

He passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family.

Brian leaves behind his wife of 37 years, Karen (Collins) and daughters Kasey and Mandy (David) and his son, Brett (Ashlee). Proud grandpa of his five adoring grandchildren, Darius, Jalee, Jaxon, Conor and Paislee.

He leaves behind his brother Tom (Ann), his brother-in-law and best friend Brook Collins. Predeceased by his brother, Jim.
Brian was born on November 2, 1954 in Belleville. Brian’s warmth, generosity and passion for life left an indelible mark on all who knew him.

In Brian’s professional life in the trucking industry, he worked for Western Star and reached the level of District Sales Manager. He earned the respect and admiration from colleagues and customers alike.

Brian enjoyed watching and playing all sports. His favorites were lacrosse, hockey, baseball, football and golf.
Brian prioritized family above all else.

One of Brian’s passions was spending time at the cottage with family and friends. He loved boating, pulling the kids continuously around the lake on a tube, waterskiing and knee boarding. He loved playing games such as horseshoes and sitting around the campfire with lots of laughing and making memories.

A visitation will be held on August 15, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King STreet West (905-721-1234) until time of a celebration of life at 11:30 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Cancer Society.
