BART, Irving - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Irving Bart, peacefully on December 12, 2020, at North York General Hospital, at the age of 97. He was a Holocaust survivor.
Predeceased by his beloved wife of 59 years, Ellen, loving father to his daughter Sharon and his son Steven.
Mourned by his grandchildren Max, Jordan and Jeremy, his niece Shifra Paulin (Marty), nephew Benny Bart (Agnes), his cousins Hannah Rosen (John) and Marty Kofsky (Charna).
Predeceased by his parents, his two sisters and his late brother Sam (Shlomo) Bart. Survived by his sister-in-law Rachel.
A warm thank you to his kind and loving caregivers, and the compassionate doctors and staff at North York General Hospital.
Irving was a kind man with a warm heart, quiet disposition and friendly smile who will be missed by all who knew him.
