KENNEDY, Jean Kennedy - It is with deep sadness, we announce the passing of our dear mother, Jean, as she was fondly known, at the age of 92.
She died peacefully in her home in Whitby, ON, on October 18, 2023, with her boys at her side.
She is predeceased by her husband, Robert Lowry, sister Etta, and brother Sam.
Jean is missed by her four sons, Gary, Alan and wife Heather, Paul and fiancé Laura, and Scott.
Mom is remembered by her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters Grace and Rosemary, our extended family, aunts, uncles, many cousins in the U.S., Northern Ireland, and elsewhere worldwide.
Family and friends are welcome to gather at McEachnie Funeral Home, 28 Old Kingston Road, Pickering Village, on Tuesday, October 24th from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. with a Funeral Service beginning in the Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Cremation will follow and a private interment will take place at a later date.
Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Heart and Stroke Foundation
