Stanley JohnSTANLEY (SZYPULSKI), John Edward   - July 1, 1931 – October 6, 2018

John, passed away peacefully at the Woods Park Care Centre, October 6, 2018 in his 88th year.

John is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Bette of Barrie, Ontario, his son John Scott (Luisa).

He will be forever loved and missed by his grandchildren Rachel (Jon), Jaclyn and Andrew.

Much loved great-grandpa to Logan and Oliver.

Survived by his sister Laura (Alex predeceased) of Florida.

Predeceased by his brother Ted (Millie) from Georgetown. John will be missed by his brother-in-law Greg, his sisters-in-law Muriel, Julianne and Irene, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.

John was born in Toronto and was well known by friends and family for his humour and was often the life of the party. John was a talented designer, engineer, piano player, artist and perfectionist.

He will always be remembered with smiles for the amazing round-the-table stories at gatherings. Cremation has taken place.

A private family celebration will take place at Ferndale Banquet Hall at 24 Ferndale Industrial Drive in Barrie on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 between 2 and 5 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society or Salvation Army.
