PALKOVICH, Joseph Michael - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Joseph (Joe) Michael Palkovich in his 90th year on Sunday, December 3, 2023.
Beloved husband to Gail Linda (nee Davidge).
Predeceased by his parents Joseph and Amalia, and his late wife Victoria.
He will be dearly missed by his family members and many friends. Joe was born in Czechoslovakia August 6, 1934, and immigrated to Canada with his parents in 1937.
He grew up in Winnipeg and St. Catharines and started his career at CGE and Philips Industries in Toronto.
He started his own business, Astec Components Ltd in 1981. Joe enjoyed his classic cars, train collection and music.
Visitation will be held at Glen Oaks Funeral Home, 3164 Ninth Line, Oakville, on Tuesday, December 12th from 4 p.m.-8 p.m. Service will be at the chapel on Wednesday, December 13th at 11 a.m. with a reception to follow.
