Hunt JudyHUNT, Judith Elaine 'Judy' - (May 14, 1945December 26, 2020) - It is with a heavy heart that we celebrate Judith Elaine Hunt (Jackson), born May 14, 1945.

Predeceased by her parents Wynne and Eric, and brother Rob.

Known to her friends as Judy. Beloved wife of 51 years to Thomas. Loving mom to Kimberley (Barence), Sherry-Lynne (Will) and Christopher (Becca). Proud grandma to Hunter (Alora), Kassidy and to Michael. Guardian Angel to soon to be great grandson.

Judy was always a gregarious, happy and helpful person. Quick with her great laugh. She was friendly to everyone and always saw the best in people. Never one to be introverted in an elevator or line up.

She gave of herself all the time. She drove school bus for over 25 years. She enjoyed meeting new people and going new places. She devoted years to the Girl Guides of Canada. Helping hundreds of girls grow and become wonderful women. She loved her church. She cherished her friends at Tuesday morning craft club. She was always knitting. She knit in church, in the car, and while watching TV. She made preemie hats, mitts, socks and prayer shawls. All for people in need.

At the age of 50 Judy decided that she would get her motorcycle licence. Tom and Judy, the biker buddies, then spent several great years touring North America on their bikes. They then spent 10 years wintering in Texas, where she took up painting and carving, and making friends everywhere she went.

She loved spending time at the cottage. She would sit on the deck and read, or more often nap. She liked to fish. And she spent time tending her beautiful gardens and window boxes.

Arrangements entrusted with Andrews funeral home, Brampton.

We honour her life by continuing her good work. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to North Bramalea United Church, The Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimers Association.
