FABRO, Karen Louise (nee WHITE) - November 11, 1939 - October 19, 2018
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Karen Fabro, on Friday, October 19, 2018 at age 78.
Karen passed peacefully surrounded by her family.
Beloved wife of Gregory for 53 years, loving mother to Mark (Carin Jennifer Moffat), Michael and Jason (Olya Nekrasova) and cherished grandmother to Isabella.
She was predeceased by her parents Myrtle and Claude White, step-father William Bartlett and sister Doreen.
Raised in Sault Saint Marie, Karen graduated from the University of Western Ontario and was a dedicated nurse for more than 40 years touching the lives of countless families.
Above all she was a beacon to her three sons, perpetually helping, advising and guiding them through all aspects of life.
While Karen will be deeply missed by her family, colleagues and friends and there is no doubt her shine, wit and strength will continue to resonate with all those blessed to have been part of her life.
Friends and family are invited to a celebration of life at Humphrey Funeral Home, 1403 Bayview Avenue, Thursday, October 25th from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will follow on Friday, October 26th, 4 p.m. at same location.
