SEIFFERT, Mary Patricia (Boissoin) - April 6, 1951 – October 15, 2015

Mary Seiffert, passed away on Thursday, October 15, 2015 at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre after a valiant fight with Breast Cancer, beginning nearly 15 years ago.

She was 64 years old & had a zest for life like no other. Her unwavering spirit & humour lit up the halls of the Palliative Care Unit where she spent most of her final weeks. She came home to enjoy her own surroundings again for a short week before having to be admitted once again but died peacefully in the company of many she loved & whom loved her deeply.

Mary's own steadfast faith led her to heaven Thursday night where it is certain she was to be welcomed by many who passed before her.

Mary leaves behind her adoring husband of 42 blissful years, Jack Seiffert, along with her two children, Jessica Death (Michael) & Matthew Seiffert (Paige Redman).

Nanny will forever be remembered by her five immensely loved grandchildren, Norah, Cady, Chasyn, Ryder & Suayde. She will also be missed by her siblings, Ron (Sylvia), Bob (late Irene) & Cheri Boissoin, & was predeceased by her parents, William & Isabelle Boissoin.

Mary will also be joyfully remembered by Vivian Boissoin, countless nieces & nephews, & numerous close friends.

A Memorial Mass will be held in her town of Bobcaygeon at Our Lady Queen of Peace Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at 1pm.

A reception will follow in the Parish Hall of the Church.

As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Peterborough Regional Health Centre, Palliative Care Unit or Hospice Peterborough.

McTaggart GenevieveMcTAGGART, Genevieve - Passed away peacefully on Monday, October 12, 2015 at Caressant Care, Mary Street, Lindsay.

Genevieve Thibadeau was the beloved wife of James McTaggart, for 69 years.

Loving mother of Douglas and his wife Linda. Gramma of Lauren (Justyn) and Shaun (Katie), great grandmother of Jasper. Survived by her sister Irene Jack, and predeceased by her brother Leonard Thibadeau.

Visitation will be at the Mackey Funeral Home, 33 Peel Street, Lindsay, Ontario on Friday, October 16th from 1:00 p.m. until time of Funeral Service in the Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Interment.

Memorial donations to the Alzheimer’s Society Kawartha Lakes or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.

Pearl, in her 95th year, was the beloved wife of the late Cameron Parliament (1969) and the late Orville Lawton (1984). 

Predeceased by her parents Frank & Louie Sluggett formerly of Cambray, her sister Ruby and by her brother Ray. 

Loving mother of Marie & Jack Hawkins, both predeceased (1963), Leigh & Joy Parliament of Long Beach and Carol & Gord Link of Oakwood. 

Much loved by granddaughters Sheila and her husband Roger Prouse,

Pamela Lindsay, Ashley & Allison Link and great-grandson Russel Prouse. Treasured aunt of Pat Webster and Don Cruess and their families.
