KERR, Robert Bruce  –
November 16, 1939 – July 16, 2024

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Robert “Bob” Kerr on July 16, 2024, at the age of 84.

His final days were spent surrounded by his family and best friend at his favourite place – their Muskoka cottage.

He will forever be remembered and missed by his wife, Sandra, to whom he was married for 59 years; his three children, Brenda, Graham and Beverly; his eight grandchildren, Kevin, Ryan, David, Robert, Kristina, Hugh, Vanessa and Fraser; and his great-grandson, Noah.

Originally from Montreal, Bob moved his family to Oakville in 1971 to open Kerr Cadillac Pontiac Buick. Next to his family, building and running this dealership for 39 years is the accomplishment that made him proudest. Bob was always driven to succeed and gave his all to everything he did.

He had a wonderful mind, loved to tell stories and a good joke. He loved cars, boats, travel and golf, and enjoyed a martini at the end of the day.

A private family remembrance will be held later this summer. In lieu of flowers, a donation to either Community Living Oakville (www.oakcl.org) or a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
