Passed away peacefully on August 23, 2024 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa in her 98th year.

Beloved wife of Stanley for 72 years.

Dear mother of Victor (Linda) and Ramona Johnson (the late Nelson).

Beloved grandmother of Jennifer (Brian), Gregory (Lauren), Kristopher (Melissa), Nicole (RJ) and Andrew.

Great Grandmother of Aislin, Nolan, Sierra, Braydon, Everett, Riley, Isaac &Ilyse.

Predeceased by many of her family and friends.

Vicky will be lovingly remembered by many extended family members.

Her Grandson Kris wrote this lovely tribute…It is with a heavy heart that I share the news of our beloved grandmother’s passing. While I won her as a Grandma whin I was 7, I felt her impression on my life instantly and ever since. She lived a full, incredible, hard and rewarding 98 years, filled with love, wisdom and unforgettable memories. The ultimate blueprint of a successful immigrant story, having left everything behind during the war to establish new roots in Canada. Her spirit was strong and her influence reigned over all of us as the true Matriarch she was. She will be deeply missed, but her legacy will live on in the hearts of everyone who knew her.
