DOBSON, Leslie George Les Dobson - Died February 18, 2024, after a stroke.
Born in Boston Spa, West Yorkshire, on August 17, 1935 to Ivy (Clay) and James Dobson.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Joanne (Jones) of 48 years; and son, James (Hy Da "Jim" Phu).
Predeceased in 1936 by his brother, James; 1979 by his stillborn daughter; and in 1984 by his stepfather, Albert "Skipper" James.
Brother-in-law of John Jones (Brenda Foote); uncle of Lisa (Ken McFarlane) and Graham (Koyuki Oka); great-uncle of Cameron and Laura McFarlane; Miya, Jaiden, and Jack Jones.
Retired from Ontario Hydro in 1993 as editor of Hydroscope. Sincere thanks to the staff at Memory & Company in Markham for their compassionate care.
A Visitation will be held at Mount Pleasant Funeral Centre in Toronto, on Friday, March 1, 2024, from 5-8 p.m. A Private Funeral will be held on March 2nd.
