SMITH, Lillian 'Nettie' Antoinette - At age 90, was born on June 13, 1928 to the late Anne and Mose Coakley in New Waterford, Nova Scotia. Her and her twin, Anita, were the youngest out of 8 children.
In 1949, she married James Smith in which they gave life to 6 beautiful children: Blair, Catherine, Valerie, Jimmy, Ronnie and Anita. Not only was Nettie a loving mother, she was also a proud grandmother and great-grandmother.
Nettie passed away on October 10, 2018 peacefully in Etobicoke General Hospital surrounded by her family.
Her celebratory mass will be held on Tuesday, October 16th at 10:00am at Our Lady of Victory Parish in Toronto, Ontario.
She will be remembered for her sense of style, wittiness, and vivacious personality.
