Predeceased by her parents Fred and Janet McCaw, husband Milton Elliott, and many relatives and friends.
Mother of Lorraine Cavion, Toronto; Karen Slipp, Calgary, AB; Katherine Heeney, Colborne; Wendy Cleary, Maryland, U.S.A.; Marilyn Paterson, Peterborough; Janice Clemens, Tweed; Patricia Elliott, Tweed; and Sandra Elliott, Belleville.
Grandmother to 16 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Sister of Jenny Palmateer, Florence Chatten, Mabel McCulloch and the late Elmer McCaw and Edith Rydzewski.
Sister-in-law of Lorna McCaw and Lois Elliott.
Lois lived most of her life on a farm outside of Tweed where she worked alongside her husband and raised their 8 girls. Her love of playing games with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren kept her young at heart.
Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the McConnell Funeral Home, Tweed, on Friday, September 8 from 1 p.m. - 3 p.m. with a memorial service taking place at 3:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Tweed.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
