DE GASPERIS, Maddalena - At age 80, of Woodbridge, ON has succumbed to her illness at Hill House Hospice, surrounded by her family on October 5, 2018.
Maddalena is survived by her husband Loreto of 54 years, sons Silvio & Maurizio, daughter in law Tonia, granddaughters Daniela & Julia, brother Guilio Sarracini, sister Maria DeCiantis, sister Giuseppina Recchia, as well as many loving brother and sister in laws, nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Maddalena was a selfless and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to all.
Maddalena’s biggest joy came from being with her family, she was always found taking care of others and putting everyone before herself. Anyone that knew her would know how angelic, caring, and kind hearted she truly was.
Our family would like to thank the Hill House Hospice in Richmond Hill for their amazing care and support. We would also like to thank Demarco Funeral Home for all of the arrangements.
Visitation will be held from 2:00pm-4:00pm, and 6:00pm-9:00pm at Demarco Funeral Home, Woodbridge on Monday October 8th, 2018. Funeral Services for Maddalena will be held at Immaculate Conception Church, 300 Ansley Grove, Woodbridge, ON on Tuesday October 9th, 2018. Maddalena will be laid to rest at Etobicoke, ON.
Memorial donations may be made to the Hill House Hospice in Richmond Hill, Ontario.
