Duncan MargaretDUNCAN, Margaret Ellen "Bonnie" Duncan    -

September 20, 1940 - February 3, 2024

The day she was born, her grandmother exclaimed: 'What a sweet bonnie lass!' Hence, our beautiful Bonnie.

She was the youngest child of Peggy and Bill Duncan; sister of Gordon (Wendy), Sue (Joe Aziz); and predeceased by Dinny and Jay Murray.

She leaves many nieces and nephews, along with their families who loved her dearly.

Also grieving are her special lifelong friends, Peggy Ford, Anne Saso and Cathy Warda.

Bonnie attended Lambton Kingsway P.S., Etobicoke C.I., Western University and Toronto Teachers College.

She taught for many years at inner city schools, enriching kids' lives outside the classroom foraging for the 'Wiggly Worms,' etc., of the natural world.

Bonnie was a unique and special person who marched to her own drum. Bright, curious, kind and unconventional. She spent her last years living with niece, Cindy Van Ryn, with Anne Murray close by.

They have been peaceful happy times. 'Sweet Dreams Dear Bon.'
