DINSDALE, Mary Fairweather Dinsdale

DINSDALE, Mary Fairweather  –  Passed away peacefully, on Sunday, January 28, 2024, at Sunrise Senior Living in Oakville, Ontario.

Mary was in her 94th year, and was the beloved wife of the late Stanley Easson Dinsdale (1996).

In recent years, she was the loving companion to the late Joseph Valeriote (2024).

She was the loving mother of the late Ian Dinsdale (2022) (Barb), Robert Dinsdale (Jane) and Jim Dinsdale (Karry).

Proud grandmother of Jennifer, Dayna, Paul, Heather, Taylor and Mandy; and six great-grandchildren.

Cherished aunt of Sherry Ham; and loving cousin of Anne Day.

Predeceased by her parents, David and Mary Blyth. Mary will be missed by her friends at the Arboretum and The Village of Arbour Trails community in Guelph, and friends in Nobleton, Toronto and Naples, Florida.

She was known for her generosity, kind spirit and positive outlook on life.

Mary volunteered at the Hospital for Sick Children, The United Church Women in Toronto and Nobleton.

She was also a devoted member of Dublin United Church in Guelph. The family would like to thank the staff at Sunrise Senior Living in Oakville for their excellent care and kindness over the past two months.

A celebration of life will be held at Dublin Street United Church, 68 Suffolk St. W., Guelph, on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at 11 a.m.

In remembrance of Mary, we would ask that donations be made to Food 4 Kids Guelph or The Children’s Foundation of Guelph & Wellington.
