FOX, Mary Elizabeth (Broughton) - Passed peacefully on Monday, October 15, 2018 at the age of 83 from Orillia, Ontario.
Mary was born June 11, 1935 and is survived by brother Ted Broughton and predeceased by her sister Ann Eyres and brother Peter Broughton.
Mary raised her children Russell (Sheila), Heather (Greg), Ted (Lisa) and late daughter Alexandra in Kleinburg.
Mary enjoyed retirement with her late husband Fred Fox in Alliston and as snowbirds in Stuart, Florida. Mary (Nana) loved being with her grandchildren Teddy, Cassie, Curtis, Sarah, Tommy, Melisa and her great-grandchildren Todd, Dax and Wesley. After Fred's passing Mary enjoyed her life as a resident in the Leacock Retirement Lodge.
She loved to cook, entertain, play golf and was an avid artist.
The family would like to thank the nurses at Soldiers Memorial in Orillia for their compassion and support.
Friends are invited to a celebration of life for Mary at the Gilford Community Hall, 257 Bells Lane, Gilford on November 4, 2018, 1-5 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations are welcomed in Mary's honour to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, or the Canadian Cancer Society.
