Stephen Kerry Mayberry

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Stephen Kerry Mayberry, a beloved husband, father, and friend, who passed away on March 10, 2025, at the age of 64.

Stephen was a man of simple pleasures, finding joy in the quiet solitude of a lake or river, the gentle pull of a fish on the line, and the satisfaction of a day spent outdoors. His passion for fishing was legendary, and he spent countless hours perfecting his craft, sharing his knowledge and enthusiasm with his son and anyone who would listen.

A true music enthusiast, Stephen’s heart was full of rhythm, and his soul was touched by melody. He loved playing the drums and singing, filling the lives of those around him with music. His passion for music was especially meaningful in the bond he shared with his son, whom he taught to drum. His jam sessions with family and friends will always be remembered.

Stephen was known for his kindness, generosity, and sense of humor. Always ready with a helping hand and a warm smile, he touched the lives of many with his genuine warmth and compassion.

Stephen is survived by his former wife, Serina, and their child, Matthew. He will also be dearly missed by his siblings: Rick (Kim), Susan, Jack (Diane), and his twin sister Katherine (Scott).

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
