MILBURY, Lynn Marie (nee OAKMAN) - Passed away peacefully, at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Thursday, May 2, 2024, at the age of 71.
Loving wife of the late Gordon Milbury.
Predeceased by her parents, William "Bill" and Alexandrina "Rena" Oakman.
She is the loving sister of William "Bill" (Lynn Coe), the late Lori Leahy, Doug (Kim), Scott (Michelle) and Donna Oakman-Fyfe.
Lynn will be lovingly remembered by her in-laws: Glenda McKinnon (Ken), Margaret Lacey (Wayne), the late Paul (Lee), and Lori LeBlond; predeceased by her sister-in-law, Dianne Oakman; and dearly missed by her many nieces and nephews.
Her heart overflowed with maternal love for her loyal companions, Abby and Rookie, whom she cared for and cherished as her children.
The family would also like to thank neighbours, Barb, Meg and Colin; and Deanna from Community Care for their friendship, help and support for Lynn and Gord.
A Celebration of Life for both Lynn and Gord will be held Saturday, June 22, 2024, at Pine Hills Cemetery and Funeral Centre, 625 Birchmount Rd., Scarborough. Visitation will be at 1:00 p.m. followed by a Service at 2:00 p.m.
