Audie Joseph Arthur Murphy

May 18, 1953 - November 2, 2024

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Audie Joseph Arthur Murphy on Saturday, November 2, 2024. Born in Dalhousie, New Brunswick, to Delphis and Emma Murphy (Godin) on May 18, 1953, Audie recently began his well-deserved retirement after a 30-year career as a roofer with the Toronto District School Board.

Audie was the loving father of Cameron (Leanne) and Nicole (Allan), and a cherished brother to Lloyd (Joanne). He will be dearly missed by his grandchildren, Lucas, Lilah, Lane, Ariana, and Gabriela. Audie is lovingly remembered by his nieces, Margie (Vince) and Michelle (Scott), and as a great-uncle to Noah, Isla, Henry, and Archie. He is predeceased by his parents, Delphis and Emma, and his brother, Ronald.

Audie will be remembered for being the proudest and most loving grandfather, and he will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Visitation will be held at De Stefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Drive, Oshawa, Ontario, on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at 12:00 p.m., followed by a Funeral Service in the chapel at 1:00 p.m. For those unable to attend in person, a livestream will be available by clicking here just prior to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 16, 2024.

Memories and condolences may be shared for the family in the Tribute Book.
