CURCIO, Natale 'Chris' - (1949 - 2020) - We are deeply saddened by the passing of our beloved Natale ‘Chris’ Curcio on December 27th, 2020 at Scarborough General Hospital.
Natale will be forever missed by his loving wife of over 47 years Concettina Curcio (Calvo), his daughter Corradina (Bruno) Rachiele and Son Corrado (Paula) Curcio.
His four grandchildren Alexandra, Kaiva, Alyssa & Joseph will forever keep their Nonno in their hearts. Natale will be missed by his sisters as well as many nieces and nephews.
Natale was a loving father, husband, grandfather and friend to everyone. Natale enjoyed spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren.
His favourite things to do early in life were going on outings with friends, fishing, collecting water from springs and dancing with his wife. Later in life his heart disease prevented him from doing many things he enjoyed. He then started hobbies like collecting newspapers, recording shows on T.V. to enjoy at a later date and of course going on day or overnight trips to Casino Niagara to try his luck at the slots.
For most of his life he worked in an electrical factory as a labourer. He then worked as a Heavy Duty Housekeeping Aide in a Long Term Care Facility until the day he retired.
Visitation for family and close friends will be held on Sunday January 3rd, 2021. Due to Covid-19 restrictions this will not be an open visitation.
Funeral services will be held on Monday January 4th, but will be for immediate family only. The Funeral Service will be available to livestream at 11: 00 am on Monday January 4th, 2021 by clicking this link: https://distantlink.com/SCION13.html.
Natale will be laid to rest at Highland Memory Gardens.
A special thank you to Paul O'Connor Funeral Home, Scarborough for making this very difficult time a little easier for all of us.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that you make a donation in Natale’s name to either the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Diabetes Canada.
