SHORT, Norman Philp – September 22, 1924 – May 25, 2018
It is with sadness that the family of Norman Philip Short, age 93, announce his passing on May 25, 2018.
Beloved husband of Aileen for 69 years.
Cherished father of Ronald, Carol and Todd.
Grandfather to Jennifer and Carrie. Great-grandfather to Aria, Ivy, Lionel and Brant. Sadly missed by sister Pat and predeceased by brothers Bob, Bill and Jack. He served during WWII as a dispatch rider in Europe.
After the war, he worked at Lever Brothers until his retirement in 1986.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff, at Sunnybrook Veterans Centre, for all their care and support.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, June 15, 2018 at Highland Funeral Home at 3280 Sheppard Ave. E., Scarborough. Viewing at 10 a.m., service at 11 a.m.
