MUNRO, Vera Bernice Munro

Passed away peacefully with family by her side at Brockville General Hospital on Tuesday March 10th, 2026. Vera (Burns) Munro of Prescott age 86 years. Beloved wife of the late Bob Munro. Loving mother of Pam Munro of Ottawa, David Munro (Josi Doran) of Prescott, Greg Munro (Carolyn) of Oshawa, and Brent Munro (Chrysstena) of Victoria, BC. Cherished grandmother of James, Rachel, Connor, Jordan, Chayton, Declan, and the late Dasan and Hailey; and great grandmother of Seamus and Braeden. Daughter of the late James and Mary (Wetherell) Burns; and sister of Joyce Ellis. Vera will also be missed by several nieces and nephews.

A Private Family Graveside Service will be held at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. In memory of Vera, donations to the Ottawa Hospital Foundation Cancer Centre or Brockville District Hospital Foundation Palliative Care would be appreciated by the family.
