Johanna Farrar (née Ryan)

In loving memory of Johanna Farrar (née Ryan), who passed away peacefully at home on November 28, 2024. Johanna was predeceased by her husband, Paul Farrar (2018), and her only son, Christopher (2016). Born in County Tipperary, Ireland, Johanna was the ninth of twelve children of Johanna and Peter Ryan. She is survived by her sister Annie, as well as many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.

Johanna was known for her frequent walks around her Etobicoke neighborhood and will be fondly remembered by her many friends. Her vibrant spirit and warmth left a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W., Toronto. A Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 3055 Bloor St. W., Toronto, followed by a tea reception at Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel.
