With deep sadness, the family announces that Bob passed away at the Arnprior and District Memorial Hospital with loved ones by his side on Monday morning, January 13, 2025. He was 72 years old.

Beloved husband of Susan (née Rogers). Dearly loved Dad of Stephanie (Tom Reade) and Heather (Bruce Gallinger). Cherished and devoted Grandpa of Spencer, Emmett, Taylor, and Dominic.

Dear brother of Nora Androschuk (Marvin). Predeceased by his parents, Robert “Bob” and Marjorie (née Loucks) Adkins, his only brother Thomas (Diane), and his granddaughter Baby Elizabeth.

Bob was not only a loving husband, father, and grandfather, but also a tireless volunteer who gave countless hours to helping others. A proud member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 174 in Arnprior and later Branch 638 in Kanata, Bob served in various executive roles and was always ready to lend a helping hand.

Despite years of declining health, Bob remained positive, offering a smile, kind word, and firm handshake to all. His warmth, kindness, and generosity left a lasting mark on everyone he met.

Service & Inurnment:
Friends and family are invited to a brief service and inurnment at Goshen Cemetery Columbarium on Saturday, May 17th, 2025 at 2:00 p.m.

In Bob’s memory, donations to CHEO (Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario) are appreciated.
