AGRESTA, Rosina Agresta

Passed away peacefully at St. Peter’s Hospital on December 25, 2025, in her 95th year.

Beloved wife of the late Mario Agresta (2020). Loving mother of Leonard (Eleanor), Frank (Flora), Tony (Lia), and Lina Murphy (Mike). Cherished grandmother of Sean (Mariella), Michael (Tamara), Chelsea (Matt), Stephanie (Vinnie), Alexandra (Michael), Bryan (Laura), Natalie (MJ), Julie (Corey), Christina (Matt), Shane (Amy), and Andrew (Angela), and proud great-grandmother of Anthony, Andrew, Joshua, Channing, Sienna, Levi, Maksim, Leovanni, Emilio, Auston, Eliana, Romeo, Beatrice, Finley, and Reilly.

Rosina will be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends in Canada, Italy, and Australia.

Predeceased by her parents, Aurelia Filicetti and Pasquale Rizzuto. Dear sister of Francesco† (Vincenza), Anna (Carlo†), Franca (Tony), Santina (Mariano), Maria (Angelo†), and Teresa†. Sister-in-law of Maria†, Paolino†, Giuseppe†, Radegonda†, Antonio†, Rita†.

Rosina was happiest in her kitchen or garden, surrounded by family. She expressed her love through cooking, baking, and welcoming all into her home with open arms. Her morning espresso, rice balls, and home-cooked meals will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

A private service has taken place.
