AGUIAR, Angelo Moniz Aguiar

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Angelo Moniz Aguiar, who left us on December 3, 2025, at the age of 86, after a brief stay at Toronto Western Hospital surrounded by his family. The son of Maria Tenra and Jose Aguiar, Angelo was born on July 22,1939, in Agua Retorta Sao Miguel Acores. He later emigrated to Canada and built his life in Toronto with his cherished wife Agueda, of nearly 58 years. Angelo was a proud and loving father to his three children – Jose (deceased), Jose Leonilde and Veronica (Brian)— who were his greatest joy. He was a committed family man who loved his children deeply and wanted to build a life of stability and opportunities for them. He will be remembered for his determination, and the courage with which he faced every challenge. He will be held dearly in the hearts of all his extended family and friends. Visitation will be held at Cardinal Funeral Home on December 5, 2025, from 5:00–9:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will take place at St. Mary’s Catholic Church on December 6, 2025, at 9:45 am, followed by entombment at Prospect Cemetery & Mausoleum.
