ALCANTARA, Carlos Alcantara

Peacefully on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, Carlos Alcantara passed away at the age of 82. Beloved husband of the late Remedios “Meddie” Alcantara (2007). Loving father of Carlo and Carmina (Richard Murray). Cherished grandfather of Sydney and Cailey. Predeceased by his parents Isabelo and Maria Alcantara and by his siblings Reynaldo, Gloria, Armando, Consuelo and Norma. Carlos was devoted to his faith. He will be deeply missed by all those whose lives he touched. Family and friends will be received at SFH – McKenzie & Blundy Chapel, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia, on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 566 Rosedale Ave., Sarnia, on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to Alzheimer Society Sarnia-Lambton or Queen of Peace Catholic Church (cheques only at the funeral home please).
