KILBANK, Alfred Kilbank Obituary

KILBANK, Alfred – Peacefully on Monday December 14, 2015 in his 94th year.

Beloved husband of the late Doris (née Inch), loving father of Susan, Lori (Andrew) and Paul (Mika), devoted grandfather of Rhiannon.

After serving overseas in the Royal Canadian Air Force during World War II Al began his distinguished career in the public service as an economist, during which he served a term as President of the Professional Institute of the Public Service, and was later appointed to the Tariff Board.

He will be fondly remembered by his family for his intellect, perseverance, kindness and sense of humour.

The family wants to thank the staff at Veterans Affairs, At Home Hospice and Oakpark Residence for their care and support.

A private family service was held in Ottawa.
