It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Luc, in Sturgeon Falls, on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at the age of 54 years. Loving son of the late Jacques Allaire and of Louise Allaire. Cherished brother of Gilles Allaire (Barbara) and uncle to Julie.

Luc was a devoted son, brother, uncle, and friend who loved to share a smile and a story. His infectious laugh will be remembered by all who knew him. He was a good listener who never judged and was a loyal friend to many.

As an avid outdoorsman, he spent many summers at camp. He enjoyed hunting and he cherished time spent with his friends and with his dad around the campfire. As a sports fan, he also enjoyed listening to Blue Jays games, curling and golf matches.

In recent years, Luc faced significant health challenges with remarkable courage and resilience. His friends and family were deeply proud of the way he met each challenge with quiet perseverance and a positive spirit.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. André Béhamdouni, the team of the Victorian Order of Nurses (VON) as well as the emergency service professionals for their care and compassion.

A graveside ceremony will be held at the St-Mary’s Cemetery, Sturgeon Falls, on Saturday, August 16th 2025 for family and invited guests at 1 p.m. A celebration of his life will be held from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Gervais Tavern, Sturgeon Falls for everyone who knew and loved Luc.
