ALVEY, Jane Sara Alvey

It is with profound sadness that the family of Jane Sara Alvey announces her peaceful passing on Friday, March 6, 2026 in her 71st year, with her loving family by her side. Jane leaves behind her husband Daniel of 41 years and was a proud and loving mother of her children Dan (Chalene), John (Glenda) and Sarah (Parry). Jane will be terribly missed by her dear friends, family and her grandchildren who thought the world of her: Theo, Phoebe, Fiona, Harlan & Baby girl Alvey. Predeceased by her mother Doris, and father Cameron. Survived by her loving sister Velda. Jane grew up in Mount Hope and had a passion and love for the sport of figure skating and her skater girls. She enjoyed the simple pleasures in life, spending time at the cottage with her family, and traveling. A special thank you to all the staff at the Juravinski Cancer Centre who cared deeply for Jane. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements entrusted to MILLER FUNERAL CHAPEL, Caledonia (905-765-2712).
