Suddenly but peacefully, Brian passed away at the age of 45, on Friday, July 11, 2025, at Joseph Brant Hospital, Burlington.

Predeceased by his beloved parents Tomas (1995) and Maria (2024). Dear brother of Anna (Chris) Janzen, and Sandy (Rob) Little. Cherished uncle of Benjamin, Rebecca, Dane, and Claire. Brian also had a chosen family of dear friends who welcomed him into their lives over the years.

Brian worked as a social worker with the Hamilton-Wentworth Catholic District School Board, and was a fierce advocate for youth mental health.

Friends may visit with the family at KITCHING, STEEPE & LUDWIG FUNERAL HOME, 146 Mill St. N., Waterdown, on Tuesday, July 15, 2025 from 3–5 pm and 7–9 pm. Prayers and a time to share memories will be held at 8 pm. A private interment will be held at St. Thomas Catholic Cemetery, Waterdown.

In memory of Brian, in lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Mental Health Association would be appreciated by the family.
