Russell Armand Joseph Amyot

November 4, 1946 – March 1, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Russell Armand Joseph Amyot, who passed away at home on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at the age of 78.
Russell was the loving husband of Cheryl Amyot (née Hamara).
Dear father of Russell and Kim (Chad Goebel).
Loving grandfather of Hailey Goebel.

Brother of Doreen (John) Latouf, Maurice Jr. (Joanne), Real (Joyce), Donald (Lynda), and Wayne Amyot.
Predeceased by his parents Genevieve (Eva) (2009) and Maurice Sr. (1995), and his brother Girard Amyot (2023).
Brother-in-law to Wayne Hamara and Deborah Hamara.
He will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.

Russell will be remembered for his love of family, his faith, and his loyalty from many years working at Chrysler’s on the “core team.”
He also enjoyed doing crosswords, scratch tickets, golfing, and spending time with his loved ones.

Visitation:
Thursday, March 6, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at Windsor Chapel Banwell Chapel, 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E.

Funeral Service:
Friday, March 7, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Cremation will follow.

Donations in Russell’s memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
